Methodology and sources

Each observation records its period, unit, source and status. Corrections create a new revision; earlier values are kept.

Changes are calculated by a deterministic script: absolute change, percent change, percentage-point change, and moving averages. Arrows show direction only and never imply good or bad.

Demonstration builds use synthetic data.
